Map and Directions to HWF

Hickory Wind Farm is located in scenic southwest Wisconsin approximately 9 miles north of Bangor (between La Crosse and Sparta.)  It is an easy drive and the view is great.  

• from Interstate 90 take  the Bangor exit, (Exit 15), and follow Hwy 162 North for 8/10th mile
• through Bangor (left at the gas station/stop sign), across the river marsh on State Hwy 162 for 1.4 miles
• Hwy 162 joins with State Hwy 16 at the stop sign – turn left and follow highway for 1/2 mile
• Turn Right on Hwy 162 (north)
• go 5.2 miles (past County Hwy E and old white & red school house)
• turn right on Garves Coulee Road
• go about 2 miles onto the top of the ridge through the hard right hair pin turn and gentle left curve to the top of the hill
• driveway is on the left across from the mailbox  (caution when turning!!)
